Lennar Celebrates Colonial Heritage Information Center Grand Opening With A Ribbon Cutting Ceremony And Presentation By James City County Administrator, Sandy Wanner

Williamsburg, VA---Lennar, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, celebrated the Grand Opening of their Colonial Heritage Information Center with a ribbon cutting ceremony and presentation by James City Country Administrator, Sandy Wanner.

During the ribbon cutting ceremony, Wanner discussed Lennar’s strength of community, dedication and strong commitment to the city of Williamsburg.

“It was an honor to have Mr. Wanner at our Information Center Grand Opening,” said Brenda Sharp, director of sales and marketing for Lennar’s Virginia division. “The statements he made about Lennar and Colonial Heritage were very significant.”

Lennar Virginia Invites All To Attend Their Antique Show, Classic Car Show And Garden Festival At Colonial Heritage On April 19th

Williamsburg, VA--- Lennar is hosting an Antique Show, Classic Car Show and Garden Festival at their Colonial Heritage community in Williamsburg on Sunday, April 19th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. The event, held at the clubhouse, is open to the public and there is no charge to attend.

“This is our spring celebration,” said Brenda Sharp, director of sales and marketing for Lennar’s Virginia division. “We have something for everyone at this event including classic cars, antique appraisers and a garden advisor who will give tips on planting flowers for spring. It is going to be a day full of fun and entertainment,” Sharp concluded.

According to Sharp, the Car Show will feature more then 50 classic cars. The Antique Show highlights five appraisers who specialize in linens, watches, silver, furniture, and clocks while The Garden Festival offers flowers, plants and gardening advice.

Lennar will be awarding prizes throughout the day. Guests who register at Lennar’s Welcome Home Center will be entered in a drawing to win an iPod Shuffle and many other items. The grand prize is a flat screen TV.

Patti Parsley, New Home Consultant For Lennar Receives Gold Hammer Award From The Sales and Marketing Council of the Peninsula Housing and Builders Association

Williamsburg, VA---The Sales and Marketing Council of the Peninsula Housing and Builders Association (PHBA) recently presented Lennar’s Patti Parsley with the Gold Hammer Award.

The Gold Hammer Award was given to sales associates who closed at least six million dollars in new homes sales volume in 2008.

“We are very proud of Patti,” said Brenda Sharp, director of sales and marketing for Lennar’s Virginia division. “In a very challenging year for the building industry, Patti closed 22 homes, totaling more than $8.5 million dollars. This award is a true testament to her dedication and hard work,” Sharp said.

This is the fourth consecutive year that Parsley has received top honors from the PHBA. In 2005, 2006 and 2007 she received the Diamond Stud Award, the highest award given by the council for closing more than $12 million dollars in new homes sales.

Parsley is a New Home Consultant at Lennar’s active adult community, Colonial Heritage in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Parsley has worked in the real estate industry since 1998 and joined Lennar in 2004.
